Bipolar Disorder and Romanticizing Things
Bipolar disorder leads me to romanticize people and situations. So you know, I’m a romantic at heart. However, in my experience, bipolar 2 disorder’s extreme emotional range makes it difficult not to idealize things.
As you can imagine, when things don’t turn out the way I pictured it, it leads to disappointment and causes me to doubt myself. On the flip side, I realize that I romanticize things and that helps me manage the tendency to do that.
Do you romanticize people or situations living with bipolar disorder? Do you think this is something that comes with having bipolar disorder? Please share your experience or do a response video and send it in to info@healthyplace.com. Thanks!
