Having a mentally healthy perspective is important. It's a new year, and that lends itself to reflection. So how do we have a mentally healthy perspective?

A mentally healthy perspective will help anyone maintain good mental health. But for the mentally ill, a healthy perspective is even more important. Read this.

I remember a commercial featuring several Haitians reading what we would call "First World problems:" a man standing outside a mud hut announcing "I hate how my house is so big I require two WiFi signals" was particularly striking. The commercial has a point--many times our problems are not as serious as they appear. Our perspective helps us see this.
