Call and Share Your Mental Health Experiences on HealthyPlace.com

People come to HealthyPlace.com because they want to know about the mental health condition they, or their loved one, are living with and they're looking for information and support.

Today, we're opening a new feature on our site where anyone can call our toll-free number (1-888-883-8045), or record straight from our site, and share any aspect of their mental health experience. Positive or negative or anywhere in-between. The idea is to share the sum total of our experiences, so everyone can get a complete picture of what it's like and hopefully learn from each other.

By sharing your experience, you'll be helping the thousands of people who come by HealthyPlace.com every day looking for more information and letting them know they are not alone in their feelings and the challenges they are facing. It's also another way for HealthyPlace members to communicate with each other.

Our toll-free number (1-888-883-8045) is open. You can call as many times as you want. You can even respond to other people's messages. We invite you to call and share your feelings and experiences right now.

You can listen to what other people are saying by clicking on the gray title bars inside the widgets located on the "Sharing Your Mental Health Experiences" homepage, the HealthyPlace.com homepage, and the HealthyPlace Support Network homepage.

Abusers and Narcissists

Unfortunately, those are two subjects we get dozens of emails about every week. Many times, they are mentioned in the same email.

"Hell doesn't describe my life. That's way too generous. You may think I'm kidding you, but I'm writing from a computer in the basement of a friend's house. The last time I sent an email from my computer, my husband found it, even though I deleted it. Jesus, I paid the price for that! Even though I'm trying to divorce him, I don't think I'll ever be rid of him. The court-ordered psychological evaluation said he's a narcissist. And my attorney says they are very tough to deal with. I don't know what I'm going to do." - Cissy

Abusers and narcissists are almost synonymous. And if there's one person who knows about that subject, it's Sam Vaknin, narcissist and author of Malignant Self-Love, Narcissism Revisited.

Today, we're opening two new sections of his narcissism site on HealthyPlace. There are over 130 pages of new content on abusers and abusive behaviors and in-depth, easy-to-understand information on personality disorders. The abuse section covers everything from How to Spot an Abuser on Your First Date to the types of abusers and stalkers and how to deal with each.

Here are a few sample articles and a link to the entire table of contents for that section:

We also have in-depth information on all types of abuse in the HealthyPlace Abuse Issues Community.
